Registering

Having decided on the address for your website, for instance www.mysite.com, I check its availability and then register your website address with a trusted UK based domain name registrar.

Every website has it's own unique address (otherwise known as a url) and with so many websites out there the first step is to check that no one else has the address that you would like.

A quick check for www.mysite.com may reveal that it's already taken. However it's possible that www.my-site.com or www.mysite.co.uk, or many other variations, may be available.

Having found a name that's available I will then register that name on your behalf which ensures that no one else can use that website name for as long as you hold the registration. I use 123-reg the largest domain provider in the UK.
